Explanation of congestion data<\/h1>\n

In the GOPACS application, the called volumes and orders in euros for redispatch are displayed. You will also find the announcements made by the network operators.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Market messages<\/div>\n

See all congestion situations for which (intraday) bids are requested. The submission of bids for redispatch is done through a Congestion Service Provider (CSP) in combination with one of the trading platforms we collaborate with.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n To Redispatch Announcements\n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n

Called orders in euros<\/div>\n

Find all redispatch orders that were taken (or matched) by the network operators per month. \u2018Sell\u2019 and \u2018buy\u2019 are always equal due to the required balance in the electricity grid. GOPACS creates a win-win situation. The flexible purchase or provision of power by customers, energy suppliers\/generators and market participants allows grid operators to make better use of the current power grid. This way we avoid expensive investments and therefore an increase in energy bills. And at the same time, new earning opportunities arise for parties participating in GOPACS. This makes GOPACS a unique initiative, born of intensive cooperation between the Dutch grid operators.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n\n

In recent years, we have seen a significant increase in the cost of solving congestion. TenneT is increasingly deploying the GOPACS platform, making it an important means of preventing congestion. The purpose of this platform is to give more parties with flexibility easy access to a growing market for congestion services. Orders on the GOPACS platform contribute to the most cost-effective resolution of congestion and solutions can come from all grid planes, from all conceivable assets and from across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n\n
