The role of the CSP in
the energy ecosystem <\/h2>\n

As a CSP, you form the crucial link between the technical flexibility of assets and the needs of the grid operator. While the energy supplier and BRP focus on the supply and balance of energy, you as a CSP specialize in unlocking the hidden value of power. Who can become a CSP?<\/h2>\n

In principle, any organization that can offer bundled flexible energy can become a CSP. These are often energy suppliers, aggregators, energy and technology companies, or service providers with expertise in energy management.<\/p>\n

Organizations already active in optimizing processes for large consumers\u2014such as those using batteries, CHP units, or smart control systems\u2014can also take on this role. Yes, the CSP recognition is nationwide and thus applies to all grid operators. Registration as a CSP is only required once. However, you must additionally complete a prequalification per connection.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The recognition procedure for CSP applies in principle to everyone. Each party must go through the CSP approval process. The connection must be measurable via an EAN code and equipped with appropriate metering equipment. Reliable and up-to-date measurement data must be available, and the flexible capacity must be controllable on request.
