What makes redispatch interesting?<\/h2>\n

Redispatch offers CSPs an appealing opportunity to generate new revenue. Every accepted bid is financially rewarded, making it a valuable addition to existing business models.<\/p>\n

In addition, you can offer your customers extra services: by cleverly deploying their flexibility, you increase their returns and demonstrate your added value. The redispatch process<\/h2>\n

1. Receive market messages<\/h4>\n

As a CSP, you receive market announcements<\/a> via GOPACS whenever flexibility is needed. These messages include the location, time period, and required volumes. This way, you know exactly where and when flexibility is requested and can respond accordingly.<\/p>\n

2. Submit a bid<\/h4>\n

Based on the received market messages, you place a bid on one of the connected trading platforms<\/a> on behalf of your customer. In doing so, you determine the price and amount of flexible capacity.<\/p>\n

3. Wait for the activation notice<\/h4>\n

When your bid is selected, you receive an activation notice from the trading platform. This specifies exactly which capacity needs to be adjusted, at what time, and for how long. This message serves as the official confirmation to take action.<\/p>\n

4. Adjust the capacity<\/h4>\n

After receiving the activation notice, you adjust the agreed capacity. This may involve reducing consumption, lowering injection, or increasing consumption or production. You or your customer can carry out this adjustment manually or through an Energy Management System.<\/p>\n

5. Settle with your customer<\/h4>\n

After completion, the financial settlement follows. As a CSP, you receive compensation from the market plus the possible spread price<\/a>. You share this according to the agreements made with your customer. This creates a transparent revenue model that is attractive for both parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n 1. Activate redispatch in the application<\/span>\n

Through the GOPACS application, you can indicate that you want to activate redispatch. This will be visible to the market in the TenneT CSP register. You will then receive market messages so you know which bids are being requested.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n 2. Qualify your assets<\/span>\n

Register the assets suitable for redispatch via the application and have them assessed against the required criteria. Once qualified, you can include the assets in your flexibility bids using their EAN.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
