Reflecting on an inspiring visit: Last Monday, we had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from TEPCO – Tokyo Electric Power Company at GOPACS!
It is a significant milestone for us when a global energy leader serving 29 million customers looks to the Netherlands for best practices in congestion management.
The focus of our session was clear: how GOPACS uses automation and market-based solutions to unlock grid capacity and accelerate the energy transition.
We took a deep dive into the “Dutch approach,” discussing TSO-DSO coordination and the mechanics of our redispatch algorithm. Comparing our regional challenges with the Japanese energy landscape provided invaluable insights for both sides.
