- Who is GOPACS?
The Dutch grid operators collaborate in the Grid Operators Platform for Congestion Solutions, known as GOPACS B.V. (hereinafter: GOPACS). The grid operators of the electricity network in the Netherlands have the legal responsibility to ensure that there is enough energy supply at the right time and place. GOPACS is an important step in reducing capacity shortages (congestion) in the electricity grid, thereby contributing to maintaining the reliability and affordability of the Dutch electricity network.
